This Cookie Policy explains how RiskForesight uses cookies and similar technologies on riskforesight.app and the product (my.riskforesight.app). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage and session tokens. Some are strictly necessary for the service to work; others are optional (for example, analytics).

Strictly necessary — always on

These are required for the service to function and do not need consent:

• Authentication & session — keep you signed in and maintain your session securely (Supabase auth/session tokens).
• Security — protect against CSRF, abuse, and bots (security tokens; a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge at sign-in).
• Preferences — remember essential UI preferences such as theme (browser local storage).

Optional analytics — only with your consent

If enabled, we use PostHog (EU region) to understand how the product is used — feature usage, funnels, and retention — so we can improve it. This may include session recordings in which sensitive inputs are masked. Analytics loads only after you accept; the consent prompt defaults to the most privacy-preserving option (analytics off), and the service works fully whether or not you accept. You can change your choice at any time from Profile → Settings → Privacy & cookies in the app, or via the consent prompt.

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Managing cookies

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features.
